Know what sits beneath
the stone finish.
The panel construction combines profiled steel, aluminium-zinc protective coatings, organic coating layers, an acrylic base coat, stone chips and an acrylic top coat.
Coating layers
Aluminium-zinc and organic coatings protect the substrate. Ask for the specified coating mass and suitability for the site’s exposure.
Stone-granule finish
Stone chips sit over an acrylic base coat, finished with an acrylic top coat. Compare the texture and colour using the selected product sample.

Nominal reference values from the supplied product literature; confirm the current model and dimensions in your quotation. The illustrated profiles have a 25 mm formed depth. Installed panel weight is not the total roof-system or design load. Quantities must use effective coverage, roof geometry, overlaps and the project’s cutting allowance.

The finish matters.
The details matter just as much.
Good planning starts before the first panel is fixed. Supply and installation scope should match the specific profile, roof structure and site conditions.
Support & fixing
Have the structure and support spacing checked for the selected panel. Follow its approved fastening, overlap and cutting instructions. Do not assume all profiles share one fixing detail.
Rainwater & junctions
Plan valleys, gutters, wall flashings and penetrations together. For exposed, high-rainfall or coastal sites, ask the designer to check drainage and corrosion exposure.
Accessories & finishing
Include ridge and hip caps, barge and fascia flashings, valley sections, wall/side flashings, bird stops and touch-up materials where the roof design requires them.

Questions worth asking.
How much do stone-coated metal roofing tiles cost?
The quotation depends on the selected profile, colour, panel specification, sloping-roof area, accessories, delivery location and installation scope. Send your location and approximate roof area for a project-specific quotation. A panel-only rate is not the price of a finished roof.
Are these clay tiles or asphalt shingles?
No. They are profiled steel panels with a stone-granule surface. Tile, Shingle and Shake describe appearance options within this metal roofing family; they are not the same material as clay tiles, asphalt shingles or timber shakes.
Can they be used on an existing building?
Possibly, after a site-specific assessment. Check the existing structure, roof pitch, support arrangement, condition and required drainage details. Do not assume the existing roof can remain in place or support a new assembly without inspection.
Are the colour samples an exact match?
Photos and screen displays can change how colours look. Approve a physical sample of the selected profile and colour, and confirm the supplied batch before placing the order.
What warranty and performance ratings apply?
Request the written terms and supporting documentation for the exact panel supplied. Warranty coverage, exclusions and installation conditions must be confirmed before purchase; they are not inferred from generic roofing claims.
